Since Dr Savino left this clinic it has gone downhill. It's very sad and disturbing. PLEASE USE CAUTION TAKING YOUR ANIMALS TO THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS BECAUSE THY ARE ALL ABOUT GETTING PAID RATHER THEN SEEING A PET GET HEALTHY. So sad.....

Dr Rodriquez is the greatest Dr in the whole world. He saved my kitten Chewy's life. The staff is awesome too. Every time I had to bring Chewy in for his appts. The Dr and staff always made time to come in and love him up. Prices are absolutely fair. They are the best vet on the island.

We took our dog to another vet clinic today (DR WEN) to try and get an answer as to why his back legs were still not working after this seizure and guess what.....WITHIN 5 MINUTES THE NEW VET TOLD US THE DOG HAS CANCER!!!
I called today to try and get a refill of tramadol so the dog would not suffer in pain since we were out of pills and the answer I got from Kelly at the clinic was "DR KEEK SAID BECAUSE OF THE RUDE EMAIL THEY RECEIVED FROM MY FIANCÉ THAT THEY WOULD NOT TREAT OUR DOG ANYMORE AND TO GET THE MEDS FROM THE NEW VET WE WERE GOING TO TAKE OUR DOG TOO"!!!! THE EMAIL WAS NOT RUDE, it was our voice of concern. We love our dog and the patient (the dog) should be the concern.
This has been a vet clinic that my fiancé used for over 15 years so when we moved out to the area i was excited to bring my dogs there as well. Recently one of my dogs had a seizure and since then he has had tremendous issues with his back legs. Dr Keek has been the vet he has been seeing. She ran many tests on him which she stated (after I had to call to ask for results because Dr Keek never called us with results) all had negative results- Lymphoma and Addison's Disease!!!! She did say his results did come back with a light positive for Anaplasmosis which is a tick bite. BY THE WAY THE DOG WAS DIAGNOSED AT ANOTHER CLINIC WITH LYMPHOMA AFTER DR KEEK SAID THE RESULTS WERE NEGATIVE!!!! THE PROBLEM IS....we still did not know what was wrong with him and all we were told was it's a process of elimination as the bills from this vet clinic continued to get higher. We explained that we didn't have a lot of money to spend and that we would make good and pay our bills if they could work with us, WE JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG WITH OUR FUR BABY!!! We wrote Center Moriches Vet Clinic an email stating we were unhappy and that we felt our fur babies health was dramatically decreasing in hopes that we could all get on the same page and get the dog healthy. NO REPLY BACK FROM THE VET JUST PURE NASTINESS FROM THE WHOLE STAFF IN RETURN!!!
One of my last minute preparations for the upcoming arrival of a new pet member of our family was to call the veterinarian office and make an appointment. I found myself intrigued by the google reviews on this website. When you learn of a health concern that might be fatal or a proposed treatment that may not have a guarantee I can’t see how your internal meter of satisfaction could ever be full. I have learned that when life has dealt you a heartbreaking fate your ability to stay objective and interpret circumstances surrounding such an event can sometimes be misconstrued. Affairs of the heart can sometimes beat out of sync with your mind. I am sorry that a person may have been dissatisfied with the care they received for their pet. I wanted to share my experience because I feel the fate of a decision could be better served when reviewing another perspective.
I needed to seek immediate medical attention for my sweet little foster dog “Dixie”. I definitely found myself searching frantically for the closest and earliest office that was open in the area. I was hoping to avoid rushing to an emergency clinic. As I tapped away on my keyboard searching I just got more anxious with the sound of our foster dog coughing and straining. I could not believe that I found an office that was going to be open so early and right near my home. I watched the clock until it turned 8am. As soon as it did I called the office to see if they would accommodate an emergency visit. From beginning to end the staff at the Savino Veterinary office was professional, kind, sensitive and accommodating. I pulled into the parking lot and besides the beautiful and charming curbside appeal of the office I was even more delighted by the smiling faces of the office staff and the charming ambiance in the waiting room. These extras can sometimes help an anxious person just feel a bit cozier and calm when your heart is racing inside not knowing the fate of your pet. When a member of the office staff reads your body language that you know you can’t conceal and they go up and beyond to reassure you with communication and reassurance you are made to feel that you are in the best place. The care that our foster dog received was thorough and bountiful with language and delivery that was appropriate for us to understand. We left the office feeling so well taken care of that I look forward to our puppy becoming part of the Savino Veterinary family.
This vet (DR KEEK) and the clinic itself would rather see a dog suffer then do the right thing and at least give the dog the meds to get him thru the weekend without pain.
My family can not thank Dr Rodriquez enough for taking care of our dog (DORY) explained all to us in great detail what had to be done and after treatment we got back the dog that we had for the past 8 years. They are the best
