The new Sinnicksons-Maloney funeral home website says ample parking. This is a lie. I am one of their neighbors and they have 10 parking spots. Since the new owners took over they do not have the courtesy to tell grieving families that their loved ones will have to park a block or so away and walk all the way there nomatter what their handicap is. They also don't seem to have the courtesy to refer them to a bigger funeral home that could accommodate them. There is a large funeral going on and people are blocking my driveway and throwing garbage on my lawn. They can have two funerals at the same time which leads to insensitivity, overcrowding, and people flooding the neighboring streets. I haven't gotten my mail today because the mail woman couldn't get to my blocked mail box. My block is one car wide with cars constantly parked on both sides with people being left to go in reverse all the way back to Montauk Highway just for trying to get to their homes. I am so close to them and still refer everybody and anybody to Wesches Funeral home in Center Moriches because of their compassion, privacy for the deceased and families, and their overall willingness to make the worst day of people's lives a bit easier. Think of having a wake for the most important person in your life and having strangers from the other wake next to you in the lobby. It's all about $$$$ for Sinnicksons-Maloney.
I have had only positive experiences with the Moloney Family Funeral Homes. In such a difficult time, they know how to both comfort you and maintain a level of professionalism. They are wonderful caring people with many years of experience and it truly shows. I wouldn't want anyone else to be by my side during such an emotional time. They leave no stone unturned...

Losing a loved one is a terrible and emotional ordeal. Then to have a funeral home that continued to make the process even harder is by far damaging. They began by placing flowers in the wrong room during the wake, not once but 3 times. The gentleman kept coming in and interrupting the service. Then to make make matters worse they FORGOT to order the limo for the day of the funeral. How incompetent! Finally, to make the situation unbearable they locked the family out of the funeral home. It's a disgrace that they are in a business that requires compass and thoughtfulness.
This is not the first funeral we have arranged, on Long Island, but the Moloney brothers treated us like family while maintaining a level of professionalism that allowed us the freedom to focus on our grief.
My past experiences with Maloney's family funeral homes has always been very positive. I have no doubt that they will carry the same tradition here as they do at their other funeral homes. They are very professional and compassionate people.
